How much insurance is required?

The maximum standard deductible permitted for comprehensive and collision coverage is governed by the state in which the contract was executed. Your insurance policy should contain a clause that provides at least 30 days written notice prior to cancellation. "DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC" should be listed as the "loss payee" on all policies.

What should I do if my car is stolen or involved in an accident?

Always notify your insurance agent and the Support Services Department Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., Eastern at 1-888-445-7717. Because "DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC" is listed as the loss payee, insurance checks for repairs should be issued jointly to "DaimlerChrysler Financial Services Americas LLC" and you. To speed up the release of your vehicle from the body shop, promptly send joint-payee checks, before you endorse them, to the address below. Insurance checks over certain amounts may require the physical inspection of repairs before Mercedes-Benz Financial can endorse the check.
